France eMOTION: le voyage animé is an augmented-reality photographic exhibition from France, created in collaboration with the Embassy of France, Institut Français, Atout France, the Bastille Day French Festival 2022 and the Alliance Française de Melbourne. The exhibition is co-presented by Collins Place Melbourne.

This travel-inspired exhibition features 35 panels showcasing photographs taken by four international photographers, highlighting the diversity of French art and architectural heritage.

The four international photographers, Ishola Akpo from Benin, Edu Monteiro from Brazil, David Schalliol from the USA and Lourdes Segade from Spain, have travelled extensively, camera in hand, through multiple regions of France. They take their audience on a unique voyage around fort walls, across the parks of châteaux, visiting museums and contemporary art spaces, and admiring the vaults of abbeys and the arches of bridges along the way. This interactive photographic exhibition transports you to some of the most iconic monuments in France!

Visitors can enjoy the photographs as they are, or download a simple app on site which cleverly animates the exhibition right before your eyes!
